2Macs Web Design Praises Microsoft's New Anti-Spyware.

USA, January 15, 2005 - 2Macs Web Design and Hosting Inc., a leader in web design and hosting solutions, praises Microsoft's release of their new Anti-Spyware Beta software.

"I installed it just this morning and immediately liked it. It will be installed on everyone else's computers by the end of the weekend", said one of 2Macs co-founders.

Microsoft on Thursday introduced a beta version of its Windows Anti-Spyware program. The product is designed to help protect users of Windows products from spyware. The company claims the new Anti-Spyware application will help people keep their computers running faster and with fewer web related problems.  The new Anti-Spyware is still in beta, and is available for download on the company's Web site at http://www.microsoft.com/

Microsoft said that in addition to loading the software with the capability to combat many known strains of spyware, the company will continue to research emerging forms of spyware and to offer automatic updates to the product to fight new threats.

The big question is will there be problems with the new application? There could be, but so far it's impressive. It even runs live and stops a threat and displays a popup with a warning of a potential attack, then allowing you to decide what to do.

The Internet has become a dangerous place and when a company like Microsoft offers a program like this for free, it certainly appears their trying to help make the web a safer place. The big antivirus and anti-spyware companies should take notice.
