Do I Or Does My Company Need A Web Site?
We feel every business needs a web site. You can target
markets world wide! You can target markets you never dreamed of! Just starting a
business or want to expand your market, the Internet is the way to go!
With over 50,000 businesses on the Internet today, it's time to get on the
bandwagon! The Internet will not change your business, it will not change the
way you do business, but it will expand and help grow your business! Whether
your new in business or a established business, 2Macs
Web Design and Hosting can build you a professionally designed web site and get
you up and on the Internet!
When people call in and ask about your company, what you do and what prices you
charge, etc, this process takes time to answer their questions. Whether it's
just a five minute conversation or a one hour consultation, the conversation is
much to time consuming and there's no guarantee to be fulfilling for you or your
potential client. This is when your own web site comes in. Instead of you
talking on the phone, you can be satisfying your clients needs and your own web
site can be much more profitable for you! What Are The Costs Involved?
Please go to Our
Services page to see our costs for getting your site going!
Are There Any Hidden Costs?
NEVER! Once you pay for your site, it will be up for one full
year! Each additional year will only cost you the hosting fees.
I've heard the term "Fully Managed Services" before but it seems
confusing, what is it?
Although different people will refer to this in slightly different
ways, in general, "Fully Managed Hosting" refers to a hosting company that
will manage the technical portion of the server(s) that your website is
hosted on. 2Macs has always taken this term and expanded on it all the
way. We fully manage your hosting server (s), but we also fully manage
your entire online presence. Your hosting, website, domain name, SEO. This
has been the mainstay of our company since our beginning. Please read a
more detailed explanation our Fully Managed Services
here.
What If I Want To Change Something On My
Site Once It's Completed?
We will give you one FREE hour every month to make any changes
to your site. Whether it be a design change, graphic change, an email change, no
problem, we will help you out for free. We do this because at 2Macs
Web Design and Hosting, we believe a website is Never "Complete"! A website
should be changed and updated periodically. If your request requires more than one
hour, we charge $45.00 per hour.
What Will The Timeframe For Getting My
Site Designed And On The Internet?
Your site can be designed in as little as three days, once we
have talked with you and know what your site is to consist of. However, due to
the many varieties and sizes of different sites, this timeframe could be longer,
as much as two weeks.
Can I see some sample sites designed by
2Macs?
Of course, see some of our latest designs!
Does 2Macs ever design or host
adult sites?
No, we don't design or host adult related sites and never will!
How do I upgrade from one website package
to another?
Simply contact us to upgrade or downgrade your
package. Any unused fees will be applied to your new package.
Does 2Macs handle domain registration?
Yes. We will contact the domain registrar once we receive your completed order
to request a new domain name registration. You do NOT need to submit a
registration or modification template to the InterNIC on your own as this will
only delay your request.
Can I transfer a existing domain name?
Yes. When you place your order with us, be sure to specify that you are
requesting a transfer and NOT a new domain. You should keep your existing service while waiting for InterNIC to complete the transfer. We will provide you
a real IP address so you can mirror the site on our server. All email and web
pages will still be accessed from the current site. When InterNIC announces the
completion of the transfer there is a 72 hour propagation period where
visitors could go to either site. At the end of the 72 hours you should
contact the previous host to have them delete the old domain from their
records and update their DNS record. If you use this same provider for
your Internet access you will not be able to access your domain site with
2Macs until they update their DNS. 2Macs will work with you through this process.
How long does it take before my domain
name is active?
Once the InterNIC announces that your domain name has been registered, it
usually takes about 72 hours before it is active. All Internet providers
must update their records (DNS tables) to reflect new site locations. This
is called propagation. 2Macs has no control over this.
